Cycling Skills Road Camp

Rider Profile : This camp is designed specifically for folks who are new (or renewed!) to road cycling who want to get the most out of riding the road! You may have acquired a new bike this year and you want to maximize your experience.

What you'll experience: Pick up the inside secrets to road cycling skills from former professional cyclist, Alex Stieda. We'll cover all there is to know about riding your road bike to maximize your cycling enjoyment including group riding, climbing, descending/cornering and other cycling tips.

Location: Beautiful Jasper, Alberta. Jasper is the ideal location for a cycling weekend with rolling terrain in the valleys and challenging climbs at your fingertips!

Schedule:
Friday, July 4
- Evening arrival & check-in

Saturday, July 5
- breakfast (Tour de France results recap)
- 9:30AM - morning skills (group riding, pedaling, cornering)*
Lunch break
- 1:30PM - afternoon group ride to the Marmot Mountain climbing challenge! (work on climbing, descending, group riding)*
- Evening seminar on cycling tips (clothing, great cycling detinations, nutrition, equipment)

Sunday, July 6
- breakfast (Tour de France results recap)
- 9:30AM - morning skill session (group riding and review of skills)*
- 12:30 PM - check out and afternoon departure
*helmets mandatory for all skill and riding sessions
