Diva Camp - Penticton, British Columbia, Canada
April 13-17, 2006
Sorry, sold out as of March 15th - we'll be running another Diva camp in Spring, 2007 or join us at our Spring camp in Majorca, Spain April 2007.

Ladies Only, Cycling Skills Road Camp

Rider Profile: This camp is designed specifically for women who are new to road cycling or who are seasoned riders but want to get the most out of riding the road! You may be thinking of tackling an MS 150 ride, a triathlon, the Golden Triangle or simply getting the most out of your new road bike! You'll meet women of similar ability and share your experiences in a unique forum atmosphere.

What you'll experience: You'll learn the inside "Secrets of the Road" cycling skills from former professional cyclist, Alex Stieda and his wife Samantha. We'll cover all there is to know about riding your road bike to maximize your cycling enjoyment including safe riding techniques, group riding, climbing, descending/cornering and other cycling tips. Instruction will be tailored for all abilities to help everyone raise their own, individual comfort level.

Triathletes will improve their bike splits, endurance road riders will learn to climb (and descend!) more efficiently and new riders will become more comfortable riding in a group.

Each morning, we'll cover a specific aspect of cycling skill and then take it on the road for practice and reinforcement in the afternoon.

Breakout Forums:
• 'De-mystify' the bike store shopping experience (Angst?) with valuable tips on what to look for when you're shopping for a cycling accessory or even a new bike.

• Cycling clothing and what's important.

• Women's cycling concerns - we will hear from an expert.

Location: Beautiful Penticton, BC. Penticton is the ideal location for a cycling weekend with rolling terrain in the valleys and challenging climbs at our fingertips!

Highlights:
